Ethical international talent

Bringing skilled talent to America — ethically.

Skill Workers ethically connects skilled workers from around the world with U.S. employers facing talent shortages. Our first program: registered nurses — starting with nurses from Cameroon and the Cameroonian diaspora — for hospitals in New Mexico, West Texas, and Arizona.

Skill Workers charges no recruitment or placement fees to workers. You pay your own certification, exam, and training costs — directly to the official providers.

Our mission

Fill critical roles the right way

U.S. employers — from rural hospitals to contractors and data centers — can't find enough skilled people. Talented professionals abroad want stable, long-term careers. We bring them together honestly: real permanent jobs, fair U.S. wages, employer-paid sponsorship, and no recruitment or placement fees charged to workers. We're starting with nursing, where the need in the Southwest is urgent.

🤝

Ethical by design

No recruitment or placement fees to workers, no contract switching, no holding passports. We follow the principles of the WHO Global Code of Practice on international health worker recruitment.

🏥

Permanent, direct hire

Workers become direct employees of the employer — not temporary contractors — with the same pay and benefits as U.S. workers in the same role.

🌵

Southwest focused

We start where we live and work: New Mexico, West Texas, and Arizona — then grow nationally.

The nursing pathway

EB-3 Schedule A, in plain English

The U.S. Department of Labor lists professional nurses on Schedule A — a short list of occupations with recognized shortages. This means a hospital can sponsor a qualified nurse for a green card without the usual labor-market recruitment test, filing directly with USCIS in the EB-3 employment category.

The hospital is the sponsor, the hospital's attorney handles the legal filings, and the hospital pays the employer costs. Skill Workers helps both sides get ready and stay on track.

Important: This is general information, not immigration legal advice. Whether a nurse or employer qualifies depends on U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the Department of Labor (DOL), the Department of State, and the advice of a licensed immigration attorney.
Rooted in community

Starting with Cameroon — with care

Our founder's roots are in Cameroon, so our first talent community is Cameroonian. Many skilled Cameroonian nurses already seek international careers, at home and across the diaspora. We respond to nurses who come to us, rather than aggressively recruiting from facilities that need them, and we aim to support — not drain — health care at home.
